In particolare, le affinità più stringenti dal punto di vista compositivo le riscontriamo in Pellegrino (o Pellegro) Piola e la sua Madonna con Bambino, San Giovannino e Sant'Eligio vescovo, detta anche Madonna degli Orefici, oggi conservata all’Accademia Lingustica di Belle Arti, a Genova.
